The Bowling Club was formed on 13th January 1965 on the proposal of Mr S. G. Megarity.  The first elected President was Rev. J. H. Lyons and the Captain was Dick Dougan  It meets on Monday and Wednesday evenings in the War Memorial Hall where a cup of tea is always enjoyed after the Bowls!

The Bowling Club held a special 50th Anniversary Service on 18th January 2015.  Mr Stanley Cordner was presented with a tiepin in recoginition of 50 years membership.
