Our Vision

Redrock is a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland and we belong to the Armagh Presbytery. Recently PCI encouraged individual congregations to assess their “mission field”, and to reflect on their purpose and vision as we meet week by week for worship.

As we examined our work and witness at Redrock we found that our “heart” and desire in Christian Worship and discipleship was best summed up by the phrase we use on our Service recording covers.... “LIVING AND SPEAKING FOR JESUS”

It’s our desire that in all we do – Sunday worship, week night organisations, youth work, outreach events, AND as we live our daily lives in the local community – that our WORDS and our ACTIONS would be “for” Jesus Christ our Saviour and Lord.

That has meant that week by week as we turn to God’s word the Bible we long to be shaped into the people God wants us to be.....not just Sunday worshippers but living disciples of Jesus in every area of our lives. Our Kirk Session has affirmed this as our “vision” for Redrock and we seek to shape congregational life to fulfil that purpose.
